As a sustainable florist, I ensured that the floral elements were repurposed seamlessly, with the flower cloud transforming their top table to a feast of flowers spanning the full length of the table and draping perfectly off each end. The arrangement was created to overspill forwards to meet the flower meadows, repositioned in front to create a floral vista framing the happy couple throughout their wedding reception.
My sustainable approach allowed the beauty of the blooms to unfold in different settings, and ensure an ever-changing, romantic backdrop for their charming celebration.

THE Final details

The pagoda on the lake's edge served as a dramatic setting for Zoe & Freddie’s joyous ceremony, adorned with tall, freestanding flower meadows lining the aisle. An exquisite flower cloud created a breathtaking frame as the bride and groom said, ‘I do.’

The couple's playful and fun-loving spirit translated into a vibrant array of blooms, featuring structured Thistles for a touch of blue, floaty Delphiniums in various shades, and delicate Wax Flower. The bride's bouquet, a relaxed mix of Astilbe, Lisianthus, Eucalyptus, Astrantia, and more, beautifully intertwined with pastel pink roses to bring their romantic vision to life.

From the initial consultation, the couple expressed their love for roses, setting the stage for a celebration filled with the timeless romance of blush and white wedding roses. They chose the picturesque Grand Lodge at Oaklands as their venue - a tranquil retreat with woodland surroundings in the East Riding of Yorkshire.
